BDO provided financial due diligence and SPA advice to Deka on its acquisitions of the 8 St James's Square office building from the Hong Kong based Golden Sense International Holdings and the 8-10 Moorgate office building from Mitsui Fudosan (UK) Limited.
The 8 St James's Square building has a lettable area of c62,000 sq ft. It will be used long-term and almost entirely by five parties, with the multinational banking and financial services company Société Générale being the main tenant. It was redeveloped in 2015.
The 8-10 Moorgate office building has a lettable area of c137,000 sq ft, almost all of which is let to ING Bank NV. It was developed in 2014.
The German based Deka group (via its real estate division) offers private and institutional investors a wide range of property-based investment products and services, supplemented by loan funds.
