Acquisition of a 16.7% minority interest in Aston Martin by SHL Capital

BDO has advised SHAL Capital on its minority investment into Aston Martin.

A consortium led by Lawrence Stroll acquired a 16.7% stake in Aston Martin for £182 million. The transaction also included a £318 million cash infusion through a new rights issue, providing £500 million in funding. 

Aston Martin said the proceeds from the investment will be used to “improve liquidity and finance the ramp up in production of DBX and turnaround of the company’s performance.
