Robert Waters

Robert provides a variety of audit and assurance services in the international donor sphere, and in particular to organisations within the United Nations system. Working with teams from all over the world, he has been instrumental in turning BDO into a truly global and highly valued partner of the UN, with assignments performed in over 120 countries and territories. 

A particular area of specialism is working with the NGOs and INGOs funded by the UN. As well as financial and systems audits, Robert's teams provide risk assessments and capacity assessments to highlight areas which need addressing prior to funding being provided, or recommendations to improve the accountability of existing partners' funds.
