Partner

Executive summary

I have worked as a partner for more than 20 years, with dynamic mid-market businesses as auditor and adviser, including many family and private equity backed companies on the route to exit and/or listing. I have been involved as reporting accountant in the admission of more than 100 companies to AIM, the full list of the London Stock Exchange and other exchanges, as well as being experienced in private company due diligence and cross-border transactions. I also have experience in forensic investigations including audit/corporate finance professional negligence cases.

I have extensive management/leadership experience in a variety of capacities, variously leading transaction services within corporate finance, people and culture, as an office managing partner and in a wide-ranging regional finance and operations brief. Elsewhere, I spent five years on the board with responsibility for all aspects of risk, regulation and compliance, reporting to the CEO and Audit Committee, in addition to being a non-executive director and school governor. This leaves me well placed to empathise with, and understand clients’ journeys.

I have extensive experience in working with businesses in the tech space, biotech/life sciences, professional services, in retail and on-line, including gaming.

Outside work, I am passionate about the environment, interested in politics and a wine, film and sport (especially Liverpool FC and test cricket) enthusiast.
