Neil Brackstone

I am an Innovation Incentives Partner within the Corporate Tax Services in the South region at BDO.

I support and advise businesses across various sectors, including Technology, Life Sciences, and Science & Engineering, on how to optimise their use of Government-supported schemes for innovation and growth.

It is fascinating to learn about the wonderful innovation happening in the UK, and rewarding to support these businesses with their R&D and Patent Box claims, as well as their plans to develop and exploit their IP. I welcome the opportunity to talk to businesses about their journey and aspirations.

I am a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Chartered Institute of Tax Advisors, and I am ADIT qualified. My role also involves regularly speaking at seminars and webinars.

Outside of work, I enjoy following Formula One, walking, and surfing with my family, which helps me stay fresh to make a difference at work.
