I jointly lead our Public Sector & Not for Profit restructuring team with Tim Betts. My skills include restructuring financial and operational review, financial improvement and turnaround, board and stakeholder engagement and contingency and implementation planning.

I work with colleagues across BDO to deliver the advice and technical expertise my clients need.

I have significant experience of high profile and sensitive engagements. I have developed knowledge across a number of regulated sectors including education, charity, fintech, shipping, waste management and healthcare. I am able to work with diverse stakeholders with differing and sometimes competing objectives to deliver both solvent and insolvent solutions.

My appointments include:

• Appointed on the application of the Secretary of State for Education the first-ever Joint Education Administrator of a Further Education College (Hadlow College) under the Technical & Further Education Act 2017.
• Joint Administrator of Bell Pottinger LLP, successfully implementing an innovative creditor focused value preservation strategy in the glare of the media spotlight.
• Joint Administrator of Healthcare Environmental Services Ltd, an NHS/NHSS medical waste disposal contractor subject to significant regulatory and political scrutiny.
