Matt Copley

Matt joined BDO Leeds in January 2007 as partner to lead the already well established and experienced Transaction Services team.

Matt has over 18 years Corporate Finance and Transaction Services experience, including a large number of private equity and corporate acquisitions, Vendor diligence assignments and IPOs.

Matt joined the firm from Deloitte Transaction Services. In this role Matt undertook major assignments nationally and internationally working with banks, private equity and corporate clients. Prior to Deloitte, Matt worked for Coopers & Lybrand in Leeds, where he specialised in Bank Investigation work within the Corporate Recovery team having previously qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Touche Ross.

Matt is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts in England and Wales and has a Masters degree in European politics and a degree in Economics.
