Mark Shaw

Mark was elected as Managing Partner of BDO UK in May 2024, and formally took office on 1 October 2024.

His role as Managing Partner is focussed on working with talented partners and colleagues to achieve balanced growth over the coming years: which puts serving the public interest, doing the right thing, our culture and our people at its heart.

Mark previously held various senior leadership roles at the firm, including: Head of Business Restructuring, and as a member of both the firm's Advisory Executive and its Quality & Risk Executive.

Mark's client practice focussed on restructuring, insolvency and related expert witness matters. The majority of these involved multiple jurisdictions and stakeholders, with high value and/or critical business issues. Mark has worked on some of the highest profile assignments in the market during his 24 years as a partner. He was consistently ranked as a leading practitioner by clients and peers.
