Julie Long

Julie is a partner in the firm’s Technical Standards Group, where she is responsible for the firm’s audit quality assurance review programme monitoring the quality of the firm’s audits in order to enhance audit quality and drive further improvements. Before joining BDO she spent 12 years in the Financial Reporting Council’s Audit Quality Review team and has deep expertise in audit regulation and audit quality.  Prior to this she spent 17 years in audit at a Big Four firm. 

Julie also assists David Isherwood, the firm’s Ethics Partner, on ethics matters.
