James Welch

James is a tax partner with over 10 years of experience. He specialises in providing corporate taxation advice to clients ranging from owner managed businesses to listed groups. He also has substantial experience in advising clients on the taxation risks and opportunities on a variety of corporate transactions. These transactions range from big ticket property deals on hotels and offices through to flotations.

He is an expert on property taxation issues such as capital allowances and has presented many times on the planning opportunities in this area to fellow professionals. He has also written extensively on general tax subjects for publications ranging from Hospitality to Tolleys practical tax newsletter for tax professionals. He has also spoken on Radio 4's Money Box Live programme.
