Gurpal Ahluwalia

Gurpal is a member of BDO UK's Leadership Team, heading up the Deals practice. This includes Business Restructuring, Mergers & Acquisitions, Transaction Services and Forensics and Valuations Services.

Gurpal joined BDO in 2018 and previous to his role on the Leadership Team, he was National Head of M&A, Strategy and Commercial Due Diligence (CDD).

His specialist interest and deep sector experience is in healthcare and life sciences, having spent many years as a doctor specialising in cardiothoracic surgery. Previous to joining BDO, he worked on a broad range of projects at the Boston Consulting Group and KPMG. He has led multiple CDD and strategy engagements across med tech, pharma, health and social care both in the UK and internationally.
