Dee Vaghela

I lead our Technology Risk Assurance practice in the Midlands. Put simply, I help clients identify, assess and mitigate technology related risks. I am well versed in all elements of technology risk including IT risk assessments, implementation reviews, IT general controls, IT application controls, data analytics, information security and service organisation control reporting.

I have extensive experience of leading the technology and data aspects of large, listed, multi-national audits within the Consumer Markets and Manufacturing sectors as well as the Natural Resources and Energy sectors. This includes working with both regulated and non-regulated entities across these sectors.

Prior to joining BDO, I spent 17 years with EY in their Technology Risk practice where I worked with many high-profile clients including Shell, IHG, BG Group, EE, Next, Harrods, Sainsbury’s, Argos, Dyson, Waterstones to name a few. I was also one of the founding members of the EY Audit Quality Programme and have over a decade’s worth of experience leading IT audit quality reviews across EMEIA.
