Financial Services
I am a Partner within our Asset Management external audit practice, based in Scotland. I have over 20 years’ experience in the sector, which I am passionate about due to the sheer variety of entities that operate within it and the products on offer. The sector has a long and rich history in Scotland, impacting a huge cross-section of our society, and I am privileged in my role to be able to provide assurance and confidence to a wide range of stakeholders. I am driven to deliver exceptional client service and pride myself on my ability to establish strong relationships and offer clear and pragmatic advice to my clients and audited entities, enabling them to navigate the complex and fluid landscape they are presented with.
I have experience of working with asset management entities of all varieties, but specialise in the audit of Authorised Funds, Investment Trusts and other fund vehicles, together with mid-market corporate asset managers. In addition to audit services, I have rich experience of delivering solvency, merger and termination procedures for investment funds as well as FCA client asset sourcebook (CASS) reporting and Service Organisation Controls (SOC) reporting for corporate asset managers and administration service providers.
Outside of my professional life, I am dedicated to supporting my local junior rugby club and cub scout pack. I have coaching and leader roles within those groups, which allows me to share my love for sport and enabling young people to discover new skills and develop teamwork. I believe that young persons can gain so much from participating in sports and other youth groups, teaching them valuable life lessons, and I am committed to fostering a positive and encouraging environment for all.
My love for sports extends beyond rugby, as I am an avid fan and participant in various sports, which keeps me active and grounded. This passion for sports and community involvement complements my professional life, providing a well-rounded perspective that I bring to my work every day.
