Anton Hume

Anton is a partner based in London specialising in transfer pricing and international tax. He leads BDO’s global transfer pricing centre of excellence. Anton has worked in tax since 1984, and has specialised in international tax and transfer pricing for over 25 years.

He is Leader of BDO's Global Transfer Pricing Centre of Excellence and is a member of BDO's Global Tax Effective Value Chain group.

Anton has worked in tax since 1984. He has advised clients on a range of international tax matters, including tax efficient cross-border structuring and financing, mergers, acquisitions and disposals, profit repatriation and the exploitation of intellectual property. His work is characterised by his ability to provide pragmatic and practical solutions to his client’s needs.

His clients include FTSE and other listed groups, and large and mid-sized privately-owned businesses in a wide range of industries.

Specialties: Anton has a wide range of transfer pricing experience, helping clients resolve a number of significant tax controversies (including APAs) involving not just the UK Revenue but other tax authorities (for example, the US, Swiss, Dutch, German), often in the context of formal competent authority.
