Andrea Bishop

Andrea is an Audit and Business Assurance partner focused on working with multi-billion global groups. She specialises in the provision of secondary audits to international groups with one or more shared service centres.

Andrea has experience across a wide range of sectors but currently works predominantly with businesses in the technology and manufacturing sectors. Andrea is a US GAAP license holder and the majority of her clients are US, UK or other listed groups. Andrea also undertakes a broad range of other assurance projects for global businesses.

She is the Managing Partner for BDO UK’s Bristol office and is also a member of the BDO UK national Audit Stream Executive Board. Her appointed BDO International roles have included membership of the dedicated network firm quality assurance team and liaison partner for a number of international territories. The many global aspects of Andrea’s role ensure that she is well connected across the BDO International network and she is adept at handling the varying cross border needs of her clients.

Prior to leading the BDO Bristol office, Andrea was a partner at BDO in Reading for 10 years. She was previously with Ernst & Young for 10 years where she also completed a one-year placement to the CBI in London working as special advisor to the then Director General, Sir Digby Jones. Andrea is known for her hands on approach, pragmatic style and personal commitment to providing exceptional client service.
