Alex Stansbury

I am an Audit Partner based in Southampton, with vast experience across a range of sectors spanning technology, manufacturing, life sciences and motor retail.

Having joined BDO as a graduate in 2008, I became ACA qualified in 2011.

I am experienced in leading the audits of high-growth businesses throughout their life cycles - from entrepreneurial start-ups through to AIM and main-market listed groups, with considerable IFRS financial reporting experience as a result. I have also been involved in capital market transactions in a reporting-accountant capacity.

I am hands-on in leading the delivery of audit engagements and have a strong focus on people development and audit quality.

Outside of work, I enjoy outdoor pursuits such as long-distance running and follow football.
