BDO strengthens partner team with further three appointments

Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP has strengthened its partner offering with an additional three appointments.

Richard Watson joins BDO as partner in the tax team. Richard will be responsible for supporting the growth of the firm’s tax business in the East of England, with a particular focus on the vibrant life sciences and technology sectors in Cambridge. He joins from KPMG and will be based in the firm’s Cambridge office.

Oliver Pumfrey also joins BDO within the tax team as partner. Oliver brings nearly 20 years’ experience to the firm and will provide corporate tax advice to private and public companies across a broad range of sectors. He joins from FTI Consulting, where he was managing director in the EMEA tax practice and will be based in the firm’s Guildford office.

Giles Watson joins the firm as partner in the Financial Services audit team. He has over 20 years’ experience of leading national and international teams to deliver on large audits within the insurance sector. Giles joins from EY and will be based in BDO’s London office.
