BDO launches new Growth Programme to support high growth technology businesses
BDO launches new Growth Programme to support high growth technology businesses
The first cohort of 16 selected businesses will join a four-month intensive programme that aims to provide each business with the skills, tools and connections needed to maximise their growth.
Each programme will focus on one of three themes: tech for the future of work, innovation in RegTech, and tech transforming logistics and supply chain.
The programme will be delivered in collaboration with GrowthBuilders who are experts in enabling scale-up and corporate collaboration to drive commercial outputs.
The participants are businesses headquartered across five countries, many of which already have an established global presence. Collectively, they have raised over £41m in funding and have more than 850 employees.
How does it work?
The programme accelerates business growth over four months by focusing on three main areas:
- Tapping into BDO’s network of corporate decision makers
- Accessing BDO’s expert services and opportunities with BDO leadership
- Developing scale-up teams through world-class business growth masterclasses
Over the coming months the Programme will curate partnerships, co-creation opportunities and collaboration between participating scale-ups and large enterprises keen to tap into new ways of driving profitability, growth and innovation.
At the heart of the Growth Programme is collaboration and having access to the right people to add value across the board. As well as client connections, there are specialist sessions on sales and marketing, operational growth, fundraising, hiring and more.
Tony Spillett, Head of Technology and Media at BDO LLP, said: “We have been investing in the mid-market tech sector for many years and work with some incredible success stories. Creating a Programme such as this to help emerging tech businesses to scale up is a natural evolution to our growth offering.
“We have a fantastic cohort of participants for our first year and what stands out is the sheer amount of innovation, creativity and potential market disruption these businesses offer.
“We hope that this will be a successful partnership that will lead to exciting commercial opportunities and corporate connections for all those involved.”
