Founded in 1864, Wrexham Football Club is the third oldest football club in the world and the oldest in Wales. During its long history, Wrexham has had many successes including winning the Welsh Cup on 23 occasions and a famous FA cup victory over, then First Division Champions, Arsenal in 1992. In 2011, the club was purchased by its supports. Two years later, Wrexham had its first trip to Wembley were it won the FA Trophy.
The acquisition by RR McReynolds Company, LLC, which was founded by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, represents an exciting opportunity for the club and its loyal supporters.
