BDO advised the shareholders of Barrhead Travel on the sale of the business to Travel Leaders Group. Established in 1975, Barrhead is one the UK's largest private independent travel groups, booking over 265,000 passengers each year. The Company is the dominant multi-channel travel provider in Scotland, servicing customers across its store, telesales and online network.
Travel Leaders is the largest travel agency business in the US, with the deal providing Travel Leaders the opportunity to expand its presence further in Scotland and the UK.
