Fresca is a market leader in the fresh produce industry, growing, importing and distributing fresh fruit and vegetables to predominantly large supermarkets across the UK.
Along with its key partners, Fresca owns and operates several state-of-the-art glasshouses in the UK. These glasshouses enable Fresca to grow fresh salads domestically all year round, while also providing essential food security in the UK economy.
BDO successfully advised Fresca in raising a debt package to support the acquisition of its long-term JV partner, Rainbow Growers Group UK (“Rainbow”), which included purchasing a state-of-the-art glasshouse in the UK.
The strategic acquisition of Rainbow will allow Fresca to continue to increase its share of the UK salad market.
