Endeavour Mining Plc completed the admission of its entire issued ordinary share capital to trading on the premium segment of the London Stock Exchange’s main market. No funds were raised as part of the admission, which saw the company secure access to deeper pools of capital as it maintains a dual-listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
Endeavour is the largest gold producer in West Africa and holds a portfolio of seven mine assets diversified across three countries. With a market capitalisation on admission of £4.33 billion, the listing sees the company become the largest pure gold producer on the premium segment of the London Stock Exchange and positions Endeavour to secure inclusion to the FTSE 250 index.
BDO acted as reporting accountant on the admission.
“BDO acted as reporting accountant on our £4.3bn premium listing on the London Stock Exchange. Endeavour is a multi-national business and we had undertaken a number of significant acquisitions in the year prior to listing, which complicated the work, but the BDO team was clearly very experienced and took this in their stride. They integrated well with Barclays and Linklaters, provided excellent support to us and I have no hesitation in recommending them.”
