The BDO Birmingham Transaction Services team has recently provided financial due diligence services in connection with the acquisition of Wrexham Football Club 2006 Limited by Wrexham AFC Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of the Wrexham Supporters' Trust). The acquisition has resulted in Wrexham Football Club (a conference league club) being wholly owned by its supporters. The transaction will enable Wrexham Supporters' Trust to progress its strategy of developing a successful, sustainable community club, run in the best interests of its supporters and the wider Wrexham community.
