BDO provided financial due diligence and tax diligence services to support Vernacare, a portfolio business of H.I.G. Capital, to acquire Splice Cast.
Based in Newtown in Wales, Splice Cast produces products including its own brands of premium screening speculum and associated accessories. The purchase by Chorley-based Vernacare International signifies the group's intention to strengthen its presence in the women's health sector, to which Splice Cat's Ultraspec and EcoGold brands will bring significant value.
