Acquisition of Alloy Bodies Limited by The Anderson Group

BDO provided financial and tax due diligence services to The Anderson Group, the Lanarkshire based haulage, commercial vehicle sales and rental business, on the acquisition of Alloy Bodies Limited. Alloy Bodies is one of the UK’s largest commercial vehicle body unit producers, producing more than 2,000 units a year. This was the first acquisition brought to the group by newly appointed Chief Executive, Tim Ward, who will now work to find other potential acquisition targets. The acquisition will take combined revenues to £255m and the number of people employed to 660.
