£139.8m equity raise by Supermarket Income REIT plc

Supermarket Income REIT invests in supermarket real estate with long, RPI-linked leases with the aim of providing investors with a long-term and secure income stream.

In April 2020, it has raised £139.8 million in a heavily oversubscribed equity raise under its existing placing programme, a substantial increase from its target raise of £75 million. This will enable it to purchase two pipeline assets worth £115 million.
