James is focused on leading the audits of challenger banks, wholesale banks and brokers within the financial services practice. James' areas of specialism include; consumer lending (credit cards and mortgages), corporate lending, credit risk management, commercial real estate, structured finance, high frequency trading, big ticket asset leasing, private equity.
James was responsible for leading the audit of a FTSE 250 banking client in the UK being responsible for managing the team, resolving key accounting and auditing issues and reporting findings to the Audit Committee. James spent 18 months on secondment at a large UK retail bank working in their finance and treasury divisions.
James has extensive knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP and FCA audit experience on all of his main clients and is practiced in managing integrated SOX audits for a large multi-national Broker Dealer, and coordinating global teams.
