Transfer of Supermarket Income REIT plc to the Premium Segment of the Main Market

Supermarket Income REIT invests in supermarket real estate with long, RPI-linked leases with the aim of providing investors with a long-term and secure income stream.  It currently owns 41 supermarkets directly and a further 26 via a joint venture.

In February 2022, it transferred the admission to trading its shares from the Specialist Fund Segment to the Premium Segment of the Main Market. The Company believes that the transfer will increase liquidity in its shares, broaden its potential investor base and facilitate the Company's eligibility for inclusion in the FTSE UK and FTSE EPRA NAREIT Index Series.
