BDO M&A advised T Shirt & Sons, a UK-based Print-on-Demand (PoD) company, on their successful sale of the business to Polyconcept.

Headquartered in Westbury, with a subsidiary in the Netherlands, T Shirt & Sons has grown from two brothers printing T-Shirts for Glastonbury Festival in the early 1990’s to one of the largest direct-to-garment printing and fulfilment companies in Europe. Today the company serves many of the largest global marketplaces, e-commerce platforms and highstreet retailers.

Polyconcept is the world’s largest multi-category supplier of promotional products and distributes to over 100 countries worldwide.

The acquisition will allow Polyconcept the opportunity to leverage T Shirt & Sons’ experience in printing, service, and digital capabilities across its global operations. Polyconcept will also benefit from T Shirt & Sons’ vast knowledge of this segment of the print market and will continue to invest to further grow T Shirt & Sons’ market presence and capabilities.

"We are extremely grateful for the support of Duncan, Ross, James and Sam. Their hard work, dedication and experience were invaluable in getting us through the process and delivering a superb outcome for the shareholders and the business going forward. We would wholeheartedly recommend using BDO's M&A team when considering any transaction."

Andrew Lunt, Shareholder and Director, T Shirt & Sons

"We were delighted to support Andrew, Jon and the rest of the management team on the sale of T Shirt & Sons to Polyconcept. The transaction creates an exciting partnership for both companies by combining T Shirt & Sons fantastic reputation in the fast growing Print-on-Demand sector with Polyconcept’s significant presence in Europe and North America. The combined business has very exciting growth plans and we wish the partnership all the best for a successful future."
