Sale of nine wind farms to Octopus Renewables

BDO has provided Vendor and tax due diligence to RES Group on the sale of nine onshore wind farms to Octopus Renewables.

The nine wind farms, a mix of operational and construction ready facilities are spread across the UK, Ireland and France. With a total capacity of 130MW this takes Octopus Renewables total onshore wind portfolio to 470MW across 21 sites.

The deal expands on RES Group and Octopus Renewables existing relationship with RES Group continuing to provide construction, asset management, operational management and maintenance of the facilities.
