The BDO M&A technology team has acted as lead adviser to the shareholders of Medium UK on the sale of the business for £8.3 million to Exertis.
Established 24 years ago Medium UK is an award winning trade-only distributor of specialist AV solutions and services in the UK. They have c.800 customers across Europe and partner with several leading brands including Ctouch, LG, NEC and Samsung.
Exertis is one of Europe’s largest distributor of technology products for the B2B, mobile and retail markets, owned by FTSE 100 Company DCC PLC.
DCC’s presence in the professional audio visual market is strengthen with the acquisition of Medium and their extensive customer base.
