BDO provided financial and tax vendor due diligence to Venatus, a global advertising technology platform targeting video gaming and entertainment audiences, leading to its investment from Livingbridge.

Co-founded in 2010 by CEO Rob Gay and COO Matt Cannon, Venatus is headquartered in London with offices in New York, Los Angeles, Sydney, and Seoul. Venatus connects advertisers and their agencies with video gaming content and community website owners, giving them access to the hard-to-reach and highly valuable global gaming audience.

Livingbridge’s investment will help Venatus establish itself as the largest global specialist in this space – facilitating its ambitious international growth plans and heavily investing in its proprietary technology.

"We really appreciated BDO’s support during this process.  Conor and his team are highly experienced in the world of digital marketing services and this knowledge ensured we were able to work together to clearly present the key drivers of our business to Livingbridge.  They were flexible and pragmatic throughout, working around our ongoing needs as a fast growth business.  We enjoyed working with the team and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to others about to embark on a similar journey."

"BDO is seeing continued growth in both corporate and PE interest in the world of digital marketing and Venatus’ offering was always going to attract a great deal of interest.  Livingbridge will be a strong partner for Rob and Matt going forward and we are excited to see what the next few years hold for the business.  It was a pleasure to work with Rob and Matt on this.  Also, congratulations to GP Bullhound, as advisory partner to the shareholders."
