The BDO UK Transaction Services and Tax teams have provided Financial/Tax vendor due diligence services to Episerver and the group’s former majority shareholder, Accel-KKR, in connection with the investment by Insight Venture Partners, valuing Episerver at USD $1.16 billion.
Accel-KKR is a US-headquartered technology-focussed investment firm, with $5 billion in capital investment across a portfolio of software and IT-enabled services businesses.
Insight Venture Partners is a New York based global private equity firm focussed on high-growth investments in the technology sector. Episerver expects this investment to propel its global growth strategy and market presence, and dramatically expland adoption for its Digital Experience CloudTM platform.
