BDO acted as reporting accountant on IP Group’s £128 million firm placing, placing and open offer, which completed at the end of March 2015. IP Group is a leading UK intellectual property commercialisation company, developing technology innovations primarily from partner universities. It has holdings in around 90 early-stage to mature businesses across the healthcare, biotech, cleantech and technology sectors. The proceeds of the capital raising will be used for capital deployment into the company’s existing portfolio, as well as to invest in new early stage opportunities in the UK and the US
