Acquisition of Thames Restek UK Limited by Restek Corporation

The BDO Midlands Transaction Services team have recently provided financial and tax due diligence services to US based Restek Corporation in relation to its acquisition of UK distributor Thames Restek.           

Restek Corporation, headquartered in Pennsylvania, USA, is a leading distributor and manufacturer of chromatography and accessories for quality analysis of air, water, foods, pharmaceuticals, chemical and petroleum products.                      

The deal which sees Restek acquire the previously unheld 80% of Thames Restek will facilitate greater efficiencies between the two entities.
